This is a great camera. I bought one before I went on a trip to Italy. I was looking for an affordable medium format camera. I looked at TLRs, but the compactness sold me... I love it. Unfortunately, the previous owner didn't take very good care of the the inner and the outer lenses, which have accumulated cleaning marks over many years. Feel free to see some examples on my website.

Let me know if you know of anyone that knows how to replace the lenses, or has a spare camera that I could take the lenses from.

Thank you for lots of useful information!

I bought a Mamiya-6 on the Internet and unfortunately the slide-on film pressure plate is too tight and when you advance the film, it tears the backing paper. The camera has some other problems too. Do you know of anyone who repairs / CLAs these cameras?

Hi

They are nice cameras. I'm sure you'll enjoy using it.

I've got a 1941/42 version, one with two viewfinders - one the same as on your camera, and a waist level finder too. The standard finder on mine is not too bad at all, but then maybe that is because I'm so used to using old folders.... I've no problems with frame spacing, but maybe the mechanism on my older version is different.

Have fun with the camera!
